Is this a ranking?

No. We aggregate recognition that independent rankings have already given, and we show it in one place. We do not score or rank advisers ourselves.

Can an adviser pay to be included, or to rank higher?

No. There is no paid inclusion and no paid position. The record is never for sale.

What does 'verified' mean?

That the adviser has confirmed their own profile details through our claim process. It is not an endorsement of their work.

Why do some advisers show more recognitions than others?

Because they appear in more of our independent sources. That cross-listing is exactly what the Almanac is built to show.

How current is the data?

Each profile shows when it was last updated, and advisers can keep their own details current by claiming their profile.

I'm listed and want changes, or want out. How?

Claim your profile to edit it, or contact contact@foalmanac.com to request a correction or removal.

What sources does the Almanac draw on?

Chambers High Net Worth, The Legal 500 Private Client, Citywealth, eprivateclient, Who's Who Legal, STEP, Spear's 500, Décideurs / Leaders League, PrimeResi, and Apollo. Each is an independent editorial or survey-based ranking — not a pay-to-play directory.

How is cross-listing calculated?

We count how many distinct independent sources have recognised a given adviser. An adviser recognised by three sources shows three recognitions on their profile. The more sources, the stronger the signal.

Can I claim a profile for an adviser I work with?

No. Only the adviser themselves can claim their profile — we verify identity against their work email address.
