We built the Almanac to answer a question that was surprisingly hard to answer well: who are the genuinely recognised advisers in private wealth, and how do you find them in one place?

The advisers who matter most to principal families are the hardest to find well. Reputations live in closed networks and specialist rankings scattered across the trade press. The Almanac brings that recognition into one place — and shows its working.
It is a standing searchable record rather than a once-a-year list. Every entry traces to its source, and every source is listed so anyone can verify.
An independent publication.
The Almanac is published as a standalone product, independent of any advisory firm's commercial interests — by design, so it can be cited without conflict and read on its own merits.
Free to read.
The Almanac is free to read. Over time it may offer paid access to advanced search and data, premium profiles that add presentation but never ranking, and events. None of that touches who is listed or how they are ordered. That separation is the whole point.
Independence is a set of rules we have tied our own hands with:
- We don't sell places in the record, or positions within it.
- Recognition data on a profile is locked, so advisers can't edit who has ranked them.
- Any commercial activity is kept separate from how the record is compiled.
- We show our sources and our method so anyone can check our work.
