Thomas Reinshagen

Thomas Reinshagen is an independent art advisor based in Zurich, Switzerland, offering vendor-neutral guidance on art and luxury goods to private collectors, family offices, foundations, and lawyers. He has over 30 years of experience in the art and luxury goods industry and is a former manager and executive team member at Sotheby's Zurich, with earlier roles at luxury brands including Nespresso, Lancaster, and Pandora Jewelry. He has been a personal collector for three decades, in contemporary art, photography, and watches.

His services include collection strategies and management; appraisals across art, luxury watches, jewelry, classic cars, and wine; buying and selling advice (auction, private sale, gallery placement); and art loans and leasing structures. He is an accredited advisor to major banks including LGT, Julius Baer, J. Safra Sarasin, and Goldman Sachs, and his valuations are recognised by Swiss, German, and Austrian banks, insurers, and tax authorities. He is fluent in German, English, French, and Spanish and resides in Zollikon, near Zurich.
