Terence Fane-Saunders
Terence Fane-Saunders is Chairman & Chief Executive of Chelgate, the reputation management and public relations consultancy he founded in 1988. He is an honours graduate of Cambridge University in law and English, and specialises in transnational communications and public relations, managing programmes for governments, multinational companies and organisations globally.
Before founding Chelgate, he was chairman and chief executive of Burson-Marsteller, a top-three UK public relations firm, and a member of its international management board. He had earlier served on the worldwide board of Hill and Knowlton Inc, then the world's largest public relations company; based in New York, he managed 22 Hill and Knowlton offices in Asia, Latin America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and as managing director of Hill and Knowlton Asia Limited opened the first foreign public relations business in the People's Republic of China.
