Simon Giddins

Simon Giddins is Founder and Managing Director of Blackstone Consultancy and a Chartered Security Professional, described as a leading international authority in the field of security. He advises private families and corporate clients on complex, sensitive situations in challenging environments.

His background includes 15 years in the British Army with multiple operational deployments, a secondment to SO15 (the Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Command), and planning, leading and executing operations targeting terrorist and criminal entities in high-threat regions, followed by a senior role at Aegis Defence Services managing a global private and governmental client portfolio. He is an assessor for the Register of Chartered Security Professionals, a mentor to emerging talent in the security industry, holds enhanced DBS clearance, and was awarded the Freedom of the City of London in October 2015.
