Shane Giles

Shane Giles is the founder and CEO of Opus Private, a Guernsey-based and independently owned, wealth management firm he established in 2002 following his work as a trusts and structuring specialist for a prominent international private bank. He brings 40 years of international trust and private banking experience across Guernsey, London, the Caribbean, Switzerland, and Asia, having held senior roles at Coutts (formerly NatWest Trust), Bank of Bermuda, and MeesPierson. His expertise spans family office planning and management, international wealth planning through structuring solutions, trust administration for private clients and charitable bodies, and succession planning. He is an Associate of the Institute of Financial Services (Trustee Diploma) and a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (STEP). He has been a Citywealth Leaders List member since 2013 and is rated Recommended in the Spear's 500 Trusts, Structuring & Offshore index (2025).
