Sarah Foster is Managing Partner of Freeths' Oxford office and Divisional Head of Private Client Services, with 30 years of post-qualification experience in contentious trust and probate disputes and professional negligence claims. She represents executors, beneficiaries, trustees, and family members in contested will challenges, multi-party and cross-jurisdictional estate disputes, and Court of Protection matters, and is one of the market's most experienced practitioners in professional negligence claims against legal, construction, and financial professionals with a trust or probate background. She serves on Freeths' management board and is a director of Freeths Trustees Limited.

Sarah is recognised as an Eminent Practitioner by Chambers & Partners (2025–2026) in both professional negligence and private wealth disputes, and holds a place in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame for Private Client – Contentious Trusts and Probate (2026). She is a member of ACTAPS, PNLA, and an affiliate member of STEP.
