Robert Kalff

Robert Kalff heads HSBC Private Bank's family office operations and manages relationships with the world's wealthiest families. He describes his primary role as delivering the whole firm to these families, not just the private bank but the corporate and investment banks, global markets and asset management, and he curates quarterly roundtables convening entrepreneurs, founders and industry experts for HSBC's ultra-wealthy clientele.

He joined HSBC in 2022 to expand its ultra-high-net-worth clientele and drive new business development. He has over 25 years of experience in private and investment banking, having previously held senior roles at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, UBS, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. He works with very large, global, complex families at the billionaire level, with his practice concentrated where net worth exceeds $250 million.
