Richard Montague

Richard Montague is a Partner in Private Client Services at BDO, where he has worked since 2000. He specialises in private client tax with a particular focus on entrepreneurs, and his client base includes ultra-high-net-worth families and their family offices, primarily UK-based with significant international interests. His work covers wealth structuring, liquidity events, family office tax, and international private client matters.

He has over 25 years of tax experience and served as Chairman of the International Private Client Group at BDO International from 2014 to 2019, working with BDO's private client offices in over 50 countries. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
