Raphaëlle Svara

Raphaëlle Svara is a Partner at CMS Monaco and co-head of the Private Clients team. She acts for natural persons, family offices, trusts and foreign private entities, advising on matters before civil and criminal courts in Monaco, with specialisms including international family law, estate planning, national and international successions, divorces, legal protection of adults and minors, and inheritance law with an emphasis on private international law.

She joined CMS in 2016, having previously worked at law firms in Paris, São Paulo, New York and Monaco. She was admitted to the Monaco Bar in 2016 and holds Master's degrees in Private Law (La Sorbonne, 2013) and Business (Neoma Business School, 2013), a Diploma in Brazilian Tax Law, the STEP Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Private Wealth Advising and Foundations Certificate (2017), and a Certificate of International Wealth Management (AUREP, 2020). She works in French, English, Portuguese and Italian, and is regularly recognised in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 rankings.
