Philip Allen

Philip Allen is a founding Director of Theseus Risk Management, which he describes as a "clinical threat assessment practice" where "issues of state of mind, the law and aberrant behaviour meet." Before co-founding the firm, he consulted on personnel security for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office as a contracted 1st Secretary at HM's Embassy in Riyadh, and served as Security Liaison Manager for the Royal Household.

At Theseus, Allen leads a multidisciplinary team — including clinical psychologists and consultants — that assists private clients, government ministers, business leaders, and public figures in addressing potential threats from individuals engaged in stalking or obsessive behaviour. The firm conducts research in partnership with University College London, analysing factors including motivation, threat structure, and the relationship between the threatener and the recipient. Allen is rated Top Recommended 2025 in the Spear's 500 Security, Intelligence & Investigations index.
