Nicholas Bortman

Nicholas Bortman is a Partner and co-founder at Raedas, with over 20 years in corporate investigations. His expertise covers fraud, expropriation, corruption and contentious restructuring cases, with particular strength in commercial and investor-state arbitration. His work spans complex disputes with limited formal disclosure, evidence gathering across multiple jurisdictions, asset tracing and the identification of fund flows, and witness preparation and testimony, acting for UHNW, corporate, sovereign and supranational clients across the telecoms, technology, energy and banking sectors.

He is a co-founder of FIND, a non-profit applying financial investigations to human rights accountability. He holds a BA in English and American Literature and History from NYU and an MA in the History of International Relations of the Middle East and Political Islam from the LSE, and has been ranked a Band 1 Individual in Global Asset Tracing & Recovery and Litigation Support by Chambers.
