Michel de Carvalho

Michel de Carvalho is Chairman of Capital Generation Partners. He joined CapGen as Chairman after a 20-year career at Citigroup, where he served as Vice Chairman of Citi Investment Bank and Global Chairman of Citi Private Bank.

He previously held positions at Credit Suisse First Boston and served on the board of Nikko Securities, where he negotiated the formation of Nikko Salomon Smith Barney in 1998. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (1970) and a BA from Harvard College, and speaks six languages.
