Michael Hooke

Michael Hooke is a Partner at Deloitte Private and the Family Enterprise Leader for the UK. He has more than 25 years of advisory experience working with ultra-high net worth individuals and family office clients on complex personal tax matters.

His expertise covers international tax structuring, advising both former non-UK domiciliaries and non-UK residents on organising family and business affairs, and he regularly works with non-UK resident trustees. He has played a central role in Deloitte's engagement with legislative changes in this area, regularly attending meetings with HM Treasury and HMRC. He also advises management teams and shareholders on personal tax implications of commercial transactions including trade sales and private-equity acquisitions.
