Matthias Belz

Matthias Belz is Managing Director - Switzerland and Regional Head - Continental Europe at JTC Group. He joined JTC in 2019 as Head of JTC Private Office and was promoted to his current position in 2024. Prior to JTC he was Managing Director at TMF Group, overseeing the Swiss offices in Geneva, Zurich and Liechtenstein.

He began his career in Hong Kong in 1991 and from 2007 held roles at Equity Trust (which merged with TMF in 2011), including positions across Asia Pacific operations in Shanghai and New Zealand. Before joining Equity Trust he worked as Chief Financial Officer for an American corporate group managing 14 companies across multiple continents. He holds an economics degree from Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany, completed a Foreign and Whole Trade apprenticeship in Hong Kong, and holds a Qualified Family Office Professional certification.
