Matthew Fleming
Matthew Fleming is a partner and head of family governance and succession at Stonehage Fleming, responsible for helping clients develop and implement plans for passing on their legacy to subsequent generations. His starting point is to help families understand and articulate to each other the purpose of their wealth, creating a framework for decision-making around family governance, philanthropy and intergenerational planning.
A former professional cricketer and army officer, he joined the family firm in 2012. He was educated at Eton and commissioned into the Royal Green Jackets in 1985. He has held a number of non-executive appointments, including a 10-year directorship at the England and Wales Cricket Board, and served as MCC president in 2017.
