Martin Portnoy

Martin Portnoy is a Partner in Tax and Private Capital at Ernst & Young LLP, based in Manchester. He joined EY UK&I as a tax partner in 2007 and leads the EY Private Capital team, which provides tax processing and advisory capabilities, advising individuals and financial institutions on personal tax matters including capital gains tax, inheritance tax and income tax, as well as UK and international tax.

He is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor and holds a BA in Economics from Manchester University.
