Maggie Gonzalez

Maggie Gonzalez is a Partner in the Private Client team at Buzzacott, which she joined in 2016. She has over 30 years' experience in international private client tax. She and her team focus on the UK taxation of offshore trusts and structures, their settlors and beneficiaries, with a particular focus on non-UK domiciled individuals.

Her practice covers complex anti-avoidance legislation relating to offshore trusts and internationally mobile clients across income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax, and she advises on domicile, the remittance basis and UK/US tax treaty applications. She is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, is featured in the Spear's 500 as a recommended adviser, and contributed a chapter on UK offshore trust taxation to Trusts in Prime Jurisdictions (Globe Law and Business Ltd).
