Kate Bright is CEO and Founder of UMBRA International Group, which she founded in 2015. She has over 25 years' experience advising private clients and single family offices, specialising in helping individuals and families proactively manage risk across their physical, digital, reputational and emotional worlds. Her background includes 15 years as an Executive Assistant to high-net-worth clients, and she is Founder and Chair of The Network, described as the UK's leading network of influential gatekeepers. She has managed a collective net worth of over GBP 50bn.

She is a Chartered Security Professional (CSyP), a Companion of the Institute of Leadership and Management (CInstLM, awarded 2018) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). She has held positions including board member of the Security Industry Authority (appointed 2020), Non-Executive Director of Amatte, and Trustee of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals.
