Jonathan Conder is a partner in Stephenson Harwood's private wealth group, advising individuals, trustees, family offices and private banks on tax, trust, estate and succession planning, governance, immigration and philanthropic issues. He joined the firm from Macfarlanes, where he had been a partner and formerly head of the private wealth practice, and is based in the London office.

Although based in London, most of his clients are international, born outside the UK and/or living outside the UK with assets and family members in multiple jurisdictions, and he is experienced in complex cross-border matters. He spent most of his career in private practice but also served four years as in-house counsel to a bank in Bermuda. He is recognised in the private wealth community, chairs industry conferences, publishes journal articles and is frequently quoted in national and industry press.
