Jo Ensor

Jo Ensor is the Founder and CEO of Philanthropy Insight (Pi), which she established in 2019 to deliver private, confidential and pitch-free philanthropy education to families globally. She has 25 years of experience working with international organisations on social change, having operated across more than 70 countries managing health, education and livelihoods programmes. Previous roles include Director of Programmes at EveryChild, CEO of AMREF UK (Africa's largest health organisation), CEO of Alfanar (the Arab World's first venture philanthropy fund), and Global Director of The Philanthropy Workshop, where she led education for 450 UHNW philanthropists across 20 countries.

She was formerly an advisor to the Gates Foundation and a trustee of the UBS Optimus Foundation. She holds degrees from Oxford and London Universities and has been named a top 10 philanthropy advisor by Spear's since 2014. Philanthropy Insight works primarily with families in Europe (UK, Nordic region, Switzerland) and Southeast Asia.
