James Gleeson
James Gleeson is a Partner and founding member of Dickinson Gleeson, a Jersey law firm focused on litigation and dispute resolution. An Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey and a non-practising English-qualified solicitor (having qualified at Slaughter and May in 2000), he has nearly 25 years of experience handling complex commercial disputes in Jersey and other offshore and international jurisdictions. Before co-founding the firm in 2010, he was a partner at another large Jersey law firm.
His practice areas include contentious trust and estate litigation, insolvency and asset recovery, shareholder disputes, funds and corporate disputes, fraud cases and general commercial litigation, acting for ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth individuals, financial institutions, law firms, executors, settlors, trustees and beneficiaries. His notable work includes the Z Trusts administration proceedings. He is a member of STEP, ACTAPS, ARIES and the Overseas Chancery Bar, and is recognised in Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500, the CityWealth Leaders List and Who's Who Legal.
