James Beck

James Beck is a Partner and Head of Investments at James Hambro & Partners, where he chairs the Investment Oversight and Investment Committees. He began his career at James Capel Investment Management (subsequently HSBC Investment Management) and was a founding partner of Cheviot Asset Management in 2006 before joining James Hambro & Partners in 2017.

At James Hambro & Partners, Beck oversees portfolios for a combination of onshore and offshore private clients as well as trusts and charities, and holds a specialist remit to identify and monitor alternative investment strategies for client portfolios. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
