Emma Brown

Emma Brown is a partner and Head of Tax Operations at BKL, leading the combined tax team across all offices covering personal, corporate, and international taxation. She advises owner-managed businesses on corporate group restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, employee incentive schemes (EMI, EIS), and external investment attraction, with sector experience spanning technology, media, recruitment, and pharmaceuticals.

Emma is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA), and sits on DFK International committees for Women in Leadership and Tax. She was a Tolley's Taxation Awards Rising Star finalist in 2019 and has been ranked in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide since 2024.
