Elliott Phillips
Elliott Phillips is a Partner and Founding Partner of Signature Litigation's Gibraltar office and an internationally recognised barrister specialising in offshore contentious trusts, estates and private wealth disputes. He is dual-qualified as a barrister in England and Gibraltar, and his practice also encompasses commercial litigation, civil fraud, asset tracing and recovery, insolvency and shareholder disputes.
He has considerable experience in the area of contentious trusts and appears regularly before Gibraltar's Supreme Court Chancery Jurisdiction and Court of Appeal, with trust work including removal proceedings, breach of trust allegations, challenges to trustee decisions and freezing orders in both domestic and cross-border contexts. He is ranked Band 1 in Chambers Global and Chambers Europe 2026 for General Business Law: Dispute Resolution, recognised as a 'Leading Partner' by The Legal 500 EMEA 2026, and featured in Legal Week's Private Client Global Elite. He also served as a Member of Parliament in Gibraltar from 2015 to 2023, including roles as Shadow Minister for Justice and Leader of the Opposition.
