Dominic Lawton-Smith

Dominic Lawton-Smith is Managing Director of Saffery Trust's UK trust and corporate services offering and also supports international clients through the firm's global offices. He works with high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts and corporate entities on wealth structuring and safeguarding, specialising in multi-jurisdictional matters, particularly UK-US connections, and leads the firm's digital assets advisory (active since 2017).

His experience spans wealth planning and inter-generational succession, trust operation, liquidity events and governance, fund structure establishment for private capital, and capital markets and international investment, with nearly three decades in finance across six countries. He holds an LLM in International Business Law with postgraduate study in U.S. Constitutional Law, is a STEP Member (TEP) and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), and is listed in the 2025 Private Client Global Elite Directory and the Spear's 500.
