Diane Abela

Diane Abela is Director, Middle East, at Gurr Johns, based in London, joined the company in 2012. She advises both private and institutional clients in the Middle East region on acquisitions, sales, valuations and collection management, across all art categories. In 2017, she designed and launched the Arts Management Certificate in partnership with the Ecole Superieure des Affaires (ESA Business School) in Beirut, the leading Arts Management course in the region which she continues to manage. She also co-organised an international exhibition with Ai Weiwei in Baalbek, Lebanon, a UNESCO-protected site. She holds an MSc in Insurance and Risk Management, is a Chartered Insurer (CI) and holds an MSc in Art Business and Law. She is an ambassador of the World Land Trust and a board member of BEMA.
