Daniel Leu
Dr. Daniel Leu is a partner (since 2015) at Bär & Karrer in Zurich, practising in private client and estate planning, litigation, employment and relocation, and real estate and environmental law. He advises private clients and family offices on wealth and succession planning, the handling of estates, foundations, trusts and residence-related matters, and also advises on Swiss real estate transactions and art law. He is a Certified Specialist SBA Inheritance Law and a lecturer at the University of Münster, Germany, teaching on the Master of Law in Inheritance Law and Corporate Succession.
He holds a Dr. iur. (University of Zurich, 2005), an MJur (University of Oxford, Pembroke College, 2010) and a lic. iur. (University of Zurich, 2001). He joined Bär & Karrer as an associate in 2007, was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 2007, and previously served as a law clerk at the District Courts of Meilen and Dielsdorf and as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Zurich.
