Crispian Riley-Smith

Crispian Riley-Smith is the founder and CEO of Art Advisory Group. He has spent over 30 years in the international auction market, specialising in Master Drawings. He started as a specialist at major auction houses including Christie's, Sotheby's, Phillips and Bonhams, then operated independently as a Master Drawings dealer for two decades. He founded Master Drawings London in 2001, established London Art Week, and founded Master Drawings New York in 2006. He founded Art Advisory Group as an independent advisory firm leading a network of 90+ specialists, serving law firms, private banks, auction houses, museums and ultra-high-net-worth individuals across the UK, Europe, US and Asia, covering Old Masters, contemporary art, fine wine, classic cars and alternative assets. He was named in Spear's 2025 Top Art Advisers and has been a member of Professional Advisers to the International Art Market (PAIAM) since 2023.
