Charis Tyndall

Charis Tyndall is a dealer in ancient art, and through her gallery Charles Ede Ltd, which is based in Mayfair, she exhibits at many international art fairs including TEFAF Maastricht, TEFAF New York, and Frieze London.

Tyndall holds a degree in Ancient History and Classical Archaeology and a master's in Visual and Material Culture of Ancient Rome from Warwick University, including a term at the British School in Rome and short internships with the archaeology department at the National Museum of Scotland. She worked sporadically for Charles Ede Ltd throughout her years at university and joined full-time after graduation, becoming a Director in 2017.

She is a board member of the International Association of Dealers in Ancient Art (IADAA) and a committee member of the Antiquities Dealers' Association (ADA).
