Carol Pepper
Carol Pepper is the founder and CEO of Pepper International, which she founded in 2001, and serves as External Chief Investment Officer to wealthy families and single-family offices, overseeing more than $5 billion in assets. Her practice focuses on external CIO services with an emphasis on impact investing and values-aligned strategies, family office governance, creation and restructuring to global standards, and family dynamics resolution and next-generation mentoring. She holds a BA in philosophy from Bryn Mawr College and an MBA in entrepreneurial studies from Columbia University Business School.
Before founding Pepper International, her experience included roles as senior relationship manager and portfolio manager at Rockefeller & Co., where she managed over $1 billion in assets, principal at Morgan Stanley, and private banker roles at JP Morgan Private Bank, Citibank Private Bank and Credit Suisse Private Bank, with over 30 years total in wealth management. She received a Citywealth Power Woman award in 2019 and STEP Boutique Firm of the Year in 2017, and has co-authored The Seven Pearls of Financial Wisdom and the novel Beyond Blood.
