Bona Montagu is a collections curator and founder of Montagu Arts, with over thirty years' experience as a gallerist, dealer and collections advisor. She studied Art History at the Courtauld Institute of Art before joining Christie's Contemporary Art Department in London in 1993. In 1996 she left Christie's to establish the post-war and contemporary department at Dickinson, where she advised families and artist estates until 2012, then opened and directed Skarstedt Gallery London from 2012 to 2021 while continuing advisory work through Montagu Arts.

She is known for her expertise in modern and contemporary art and has advised leading private, corporate and institutional collections, with market commentary appearing in The Financial Times, The New York Times, The Art Newspaper and Apollo Magazine. She is Vice Chair of the Society of London Art Dealers (elected 2020) and a patron of Whitechapel Gallery, Tate and Serpentine.
