Bernard Vischer
Bernard Vischer is a Partner in the Private Wealth practice at Schellenberg Wittmer, based in the Geneva office. He advises private clients on private banking matters, trusts, estate planning and philanthropy, and advises on governance, dispute prevention and succession in privately held/controlled businesses. He also has experience in corporate and transactional matters with a focus on the shipping and aviation industries.
He has been a Partner at Schellenberg Wittmer since 1990, served as Managing Partner from 2002 to 2007 and was a Management Committee member from 2000 to 2007. He holds an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania (1983) and a lic. iur. from the University of Geneva (1978), was admitted to the Swiss bar in 1980, and is a certified IDC professional coach. He is a member of the Geneva Bar, the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and The International Academy for Trust and Estate Lawyers (TIATEL).
