Ben Grist is a partner at Dixon Wilson with over 20 years of experience advising families, trusts, and businesses on tax and accounting matters. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006, receiving the Strachan Prize from ICAEW, and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2008, winning the Institute Medal — the highest academic award issued by the Chartered Institute of Taxation — for best overall performance; he also holds an MA in Pure and Applied Mathematics from Cambridge University. He joined Dixon Wilson in 2003 and was appointed partner in 2011.

His practice focuses on international aspects of UK taxation, including tax residence, domicile, and the remittance basis, as well as landed estates advisory covering compliance, cost efficiencies, development planning, and wealth succession strategies.
