Awo Ablo

Awo Ablo is President of Co-Impact, a philanthropy organisation that pools donations from funders and channels them to local partners working on health, education and economic systems in Africa, Asia and Latin America. She spent more than two decades in governance and public policy before this, including as executive vice president at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change and director of external relations at the International HIV/AIDS Alliance. Her focus now is on shifting philanthropy away from one-off projects and towards long-term systems change: funding that is larger, more collaborative, and led by the people closest to the problem.
