Angela Bowman

Angela Bowman is a partner in the Dispute Resolution team at Blandy & Blandy LLP, where she leads the will, probate and trust disputes practice. Qualified in 1997 (LLB Hons, University of Southampton), she has over 20 years of experience in contentious probate and trust matters, with a particular specialism in acting for charities as residuary beneficiaries. Her practice covers will validity challenges, Inheritance Act 1975 claims, proprietary estoppel, executor and trustee removal, and breach of trust and fiduciary duty claims.

She is recommended in the Chambers UK Guide and Chambers HNW Guide and is named as a leading partner in the Legal 500, where she is described as 'a towering figure in the charities and not-for-profit sector for a couple of decades now.' She was named Contentious Solicitor of the Year by ACTAPS in 2013, was shortlisted for the Women in Law Awards 2020, and is a member of ACTAPS. She joined Blandy & Blandy from a top-tier national firm where she was a partner and joint national head of Charities.
